Hello from Nottingham, UK
I am Professor of Clinical Trials at the University of Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit. I lead on major UK based trials in obstetrics and gynaecology, but have a parallel interest in working with LMIC partners to conduct high quality randomise trials. I've worked with teams in Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania and Pakistan on a trial of maternal sepsis prevention and currently with India and Kenya in newborn health. I joined with the WHO in reviewing the causes of maternal mortality.
Women's health research is not just about pregnancy - I would be very keen to hear from LMIC based clinicians with research questions around pelvic pain, menopausal health or other challenges facing women. -
