A big congratulations to Dr Olabanji Surakat who won The Global Health Network video competition and will receive the award of a fully funded workshop at his institution.
Dr Surakat is an epidemiologist and lecturer at Osun State University, Nigeria. His research interest include neglected tropical diseases of zoological origin.
In his video he shared the story of how he first heard about The Global Health Network in 2011 as a postgraduate student and how the e-learning courses supported his research and career progress.
A video to help share what The Global Health Network is about will be made featuring the winner and shortlisted contestants.
