Who is BIRTH?

The Biological Informatics Research Training for Health (BIRTH) computing laboratory is a researcher led, collaborative initiative developed by and for researchers in the Faculty of Health Sciences at UCT.The lab is an equipped, dedicated space to facilitate researcher directed training of researchers engaging with data intensive applications in Health Sciences.

BIRTH has partnered with the South African regional faculty to provide the computer infrastructure and quiet space needed for study staff to conduct faciliated eLearning.
