About: During my undergraduate studies at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH), where I earned my Medical Degree, I maintained a steadfast commitment to medical research, serving as an active member of the Scientific Association of Medical Students (ASOCEM-UNAH) for 6 years and the Latin American Federation of Scientific Societies of Medical Students (FELSOCEM) for 5 years. Following the completion of my medical education, I pursued advanced academic specialization and graduated from the Postgraduate Program in Public Health at UNAH. Subsequently, I served as a university lecturer at the Universidad Cristiana de Honduras (UCRISH), teaching Research Methodology, and acted as an Ad-Hoc Member of the Biomedical Research Ethics Committee at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of UNAH. Currently, I am continuing my professional development as a second-year Clinical Oncology resident at the National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology (INOR) in Cuba. At this stage, my research areas focus specifically on colorectal cancer, breast cancer, and gynecological malignancies. From this standpoint, my current objective is to consolidate transdisciplinary collaborative networks, provide methodological mentorship for local research projects and theses, and drive the advancement of regional oncological knowledge through a transformative, ethical, and deeply human medical practice. My comprehensive vision seeks not only to treat the disease but also to understand the global context of those affected by it, thereby generating a real, measurable, and lasting impact on contemporary public health
