From the attrocities of the Nazi Physicians, the Tuskgee trial , down to the Helsinki declaration and the emergence of ICH-GCP and many other current regulations stipulating the standards for the smooth conduct of clinical research till date,abuse of the informed consent process has always been the bane of unethical clinical trial/research.Several ways have been proposed to improve the ICP, yet reports emanating from several research sites still report consent annomalies. How de we eradicate this critical abuse of human right.
