Medical statistician needed in Kenya

The PATS-MECOR course runs for 5 days every October in Brackenhurst, about a 45 minute drive out of Nairobi. This is run jointly by the American Thoracic Society and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. It is attended by clinicians from across Africa wishing to develop expertise in doing research in respiratory diseases in tropical countries.

An experienced medical statistician based in Kenya is being sought, to help provide teaching of basic statistical methods and to mentor course attendees as they develop a research project during the 5 days of the course.
