On 1st February 2013, Global Health Trials Southern African Regional Faculy held the first of its Clinical Trials Skills-Sharing Workshops in South Africa, hosted by the University of Cape Town. Organised by Liz Allen and the Global Health Trials faculty (Cordelia Reddy, Havana Chikoto and Lesley Workman), the workshop was a huge success, with a very high number of attendees and some really excellent and thought-provoking speakers, as well as great enthusiasm for moving forward with Global Health Trials activities within South Africa, to strengthen local clinical research capacity.

We will shortly release a full report of the day, including a write-up of the extremely interesting discussion panels, but you can also read about it on the UCT news page.

You can download the presentations from the day, on the right hand side of the screen.
