Coursera's massively popular Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) allow you to take part in taught online courses on many aspects of global health. They are about to start:
Epidemiology, the basic science of public health (https://www.coursera.org/learn/epidemiology/outline)
and
Introduction to Pharmacy (https://www.coursera.org/course/intropharma) - 7 weeks, 2-5 hours per week.
Reproducible Research: (https://www.coursera.org/course/repdata) 4 weeks, 4-9 hours per week.
Getting and Cleaning Data (https://www.coursera.org/course/getdata) 4 weeks, 4-9 hours per week
Exploratory Data Analysis (https://www.coursera.org/course/exdata), 4 weeks, 4-9 hours per week
Statistical Inference (https://www.coursera.org/course/statinference), 4 weeks, 7-9 hours per week
Rural Health Nursing (https://www.coursera.org/course/ruralnursing), 8 weeks, 4-6 hours per week

The courses are free to take. They can be a little Flash-heavy; if you cannot access them, try the Global Health Network's training centre eLearning courses above, which are also free and designed for low bandwidth.
