Initiative on Research and Innovation Management (iRIM) is a partnership program funded by the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and managed by the Fogarty International Center (FIC) and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), both part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), several Sub-Saharan African institutions are building sustainable research environments to expand research capabilities at academic institutions.
