A research group led by Dr Juan Cabello has released a practical application which will help researchers to interpret research papers and understand research. It is a free app which works on iphone in both English and Spanish. It helps researchers appraise eight kinds of studies, storing your results so that you can easily access them in future.
The app also contained an Evidence Based Practice A-Z glossasry, and has capabilities such as calculators which will help you assess pretest probabilities and number needed to treat.

You can read more about the app here: http://www.ithinkwell.org/free-casp-iphone-app-for-critical-appraisal-skills/
And you can download the app on iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/casp/id961788886?mt=8
It is available in English and Spanish.
Unfortunately it is available on for iPhone and iPad at the moment; if you require an android version, it may be worth contacting the researchers to see if this will be available soon.
