The African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM) is a pan-African, non-profit organisation headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. ASLM’s mission is to advance the laboratory medicine services and networks needed to support preventive medicine, quality patient care and disease control in Africa. The Senior Programme Specialist – Global Health will improve laboratory processes by supporting diagnostic intake initiatives, conducting gap analyses and market intelligence research, and providing technical support and guidance to staff and stakeholders. This will be a hands-on position for someone with programme management or technical experience. Ideal candidates will have a consulting/analyst or technical background and be motivated by the challenge of developing and proposing solutions to strengthen the laboratory infrastructure across Africa.
