The Global Health Network will be changing next month, bringing exciting front-page improvements which will make it easier for you to find what you are looking for on each of the member areas.
Responding to readers’ suggestions, the Global Health Network front pages will be completely revamped, with the current front pages replaced with intuitive content blocks which will reflect the information which is newest, most popular, or particularly important. This will help you to instantly find the content you need, and to join in activities, events and discussions.
It will also be much easier for you to link back and forth between the different Network member areas (such as Global Health Trials and Global Research Nurses), the research topics, and the tools like Site-Finder and the eLearning Centre; a new top bar will quickly connect you to each of these interlinked areas.
This changeover will occur in the first week of February this year, and reminders will be placed on each member area just before the updates. Full support will be available through an online helpdesk for anyone with any feedback or questions.
The front page makeover is only the first in a series of planned improvements to the Global Health Network. Other stages of renovation will include improving the search functionality, improving the sign-up procedure, and allowing you to recommend content. The eLearning centre will also be improved, centralising into a separate training space and gaining improved functionality to help you learn and find the related resources you need. Excitingly, we’ll also be integrating a fully interactive process map which will take you through the stages of initiating a clinical research project, with a full write up on each stage, as well as useful links, resources and guidance articles.
