ARTICLE ABSTRACT

Openness has long been a norm of science, but until the 1990s the practise of sharing research data widely varied and was rarely subject to specific rules and prodecures. However, recent changes in federal reguations have dramatically altered the picture. Now, there are specific requirements, regulations and rules for data sharing.
