About: During my postdoc in Institute of Tropical Medicine, under the guidance of Dr.Benjamin Mordmueller and Dr. Peter Kremsner, worked on molecular epidemiology of malaria parasites, malarial drug resistance and host genetics. Worked in Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Lambarene on Tb molecular drug resistance and antimicrobial resistance projects. Currently working as an Associate Professor in a state of art research center, PSG Center for Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics, PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research, Coimbatore, India. Research works include, moleculare surveillance of colistin and beta lactam drug resistance genes, drug resistance in Tb patient isolates and isolation of novel antimicrobial compounds from environment against clinically important pathogen bacteria. Covid-19 biobank, Covid-19 pathogen host interactions, Covid-19 host genetics.
