About: Dr. Figueiredo Augusto is a MPH student at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD candidate in International Health at the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in Lisbon. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Lisbon in 2011 and currently is a Registrar in Public Health in Lisbon. Dr. Augusto is also a former intern at the World Health Organization, where he was involved in research on Adolescent MSM. His main focus areas are HIV/AIDS in key populations, PMTCT, and maternal & child health.
