About: I have a strong research focus on animal genetics, particularly in relation to African species. My work has spanned across multiple species, including rats, goats, cattle, dogs, donkeys, and pigs, with a particular emphasis on understanding their genetic adaptations and variations. My interest also extends to the field of veterinary medicine, with several articles exploring the health and diseases of these animals. My work has demonstrated a commitment to improving animal health and understanding the factors contributing to disease. I am affiliated with the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and the University of Pretoria in South Africa. These affiliations suggest a strong connection to the African continent and a commitment to studying its unique fauna. I lecture both undergraduate and postgraduate students in aspects of food and animal medicine and engage students in clinics. I am a consultant ruminant medicine expert at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, University of Ibadan.
