About: I hold a MSc in Applied Microbiology, with 10 years of experience in the area of viral diagnostics and surveillance. 3 years in Development, Tech transfer and manufacturing of In-vitro diagnostic tests. Specialized in immunoassays applied to the detection of viral diseases. Currently manufacturing manager and R&D and technology transfer specialist at DIATROPIX platform, I’m working on the development and production of IVDs using ISO13485 standard. I am currently working on a PhD thesis for the improvement of diagnostics immunoassays using Multiparametric (xMAP) and lateral flow platforms. I also work as a professor of Virology, Biotechnology and Vaccinology.
