About: I am a junior postdoctoral fellow at the Advanced Public Health Laboratory, Instituto Gonçalo Moniz (Fiocruz Bahia). I hold a doctorate in Biosciences and Biotechnology in Health (Instituto Aggeu Magalhães, Fiocruz Pernambuco), an MSc in Applied Biology to Health (Federal University of Pernambuco), and a BSc in Biological Sciences (Federal University of Paraíba). My research focuses on the immunopathogenesis of human viral diseases (Zika virus, SARS‑CoV‑2, HIV‑1, and HTLV‑1), with emphasis on neuroimmune interactions and blood–brain barrier models. I have experience with mammalian cell lines (neuronal: SH‑SY5Y; glial: U‑87 MG; endothelial: hBMEC; lymphoid: MT‑2), in vitro indirect coculture systems, PBMC isolation, ELISA, Cytometric Bead Array for chemokine and cytokine profiling, apoptosis and autophagy assays, nucleic acid extraction, and viral load quantification.
