Sarada Kannangara

About: Dr. Kannangara is a young consultant who completed his training in Sri Lanka and United Kingdom. After being graduated MBBS by University of Ruhuna in 2004, Sri Lanka he obtained his MD( Obstetrics and Gynaecology ) by University of Colombo in 2011. He further trained in the sub-specialty field of Gynaecological-Oncology in Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford, the Robotic surgery epicentre in UK and obtained his board certification as a Specialist in 2015. He is an excellent surgeon with superb hand skills and the first ever Sri Lankan to obtained the Da-Vinci Certificate as a console trained Robotic Surgeon. He is a policy developer and involved in National policy development projects for standard of medical education and establishment of a specialist registry in Sri Lanka.
