PhD Tinto Halidou
About: Research associate, Institute for health Research (IRSS) seconded in Centre Muraz, Bobo Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. My research activity focused on malaria parasite biology is currently oriented towards the epidemiology of resistance. I worked from 1998 to 2005 as a research associate in charge of the surveillance of drug resistance at Centre Muraz. From 2005, I have been / is involved in several phase I/II, III and IV clinical trials (10 so far) as PI, including Pk studies and a malaria vaccine trial (RTS,S).
