Daniel Brito de Araujo
About: I am a rheumatologist, clinical researcher, and professor at the Federal University of Pelotas, Brazil, with training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of São Paulo. My clinical and research work focuses on systemic autoimmune diseases, particularly idiopathic inflammatory myopathies, lupus, psoriais/psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, where I coordinate national initiatives and collaborate with international networks. I have active experience in clinical trials involving immunobiologics and vaccines, contribute to national guidelines, and serve in academic leadership roles in medical residency and medical education. My interest bridges clinical care, research innovation, and collaborative development of evidence-based practices in rheumatology.
