Dr ADEBOLA EMMANUEL ORIMADEGUN
About: Dr Adebola E. Orimadegun is an Academic/Research Staff at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria where he obtained the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, and Master of Science in Epidemiology in 1997 and 2005 respectively. He also obtained Master of Science in Clinical Trials of the University of London in 2013 (funded with European and Developing Countries Trial Partnership (EDCTP) Scholarship Award). He is a trained Paediatrics and Child Health specialist, holds Professional Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians since 2006. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Research Fellow and Consultant Paediatrician at the Institute of Child Health, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His responsibilities include: design and conduct of child health-related research, training of Medical Undergraduates and Postgraduates Students. He also renders clinical services at the Children Emergency Unit of the University College Hospital, Ibadan as Consultant Paediatrician (since 2007). His research interest spans the field of clinical epidemiology of childhood diseases and clinical trials of health interventions.
