About: I am a Medical Doctor by background, holding a Master degree in Sciences of Public Health – Diseases control from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp. I am a sandwich PhD fellow in Medical Sciences at “Université Catholique de Louvain” and Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp. I have been involved as an investigator and study site coordinator in many studies for about 7 years (since 2013 when I joined the Clinical Research Unit of Nanoro). My activities were mainly oriented on malaria control, But seeing the high resistance level to commonly used antibiotics and the increasing level of infectious diseases with resistant bacterial strains to WATCH group antibiotics in Nanoro referral hospital, I have focused my recent research activities (since 2019) on community antibiotic use and community-acquired antibiotic resistance which is my PhD topic.
