About: I am currently in the third year of my PhD, as part of this I have set up and managed a clinical trial within the NHS. The study cohort contained 101 pregnant smokers, who were asked to provide saliva samples to measure nicotine metabolism at five time points during pregnancy and in the postnatal period. I also work as a researcher at the University of Nottingham. My work as a researcher has involved working on RCT's and intervention studies, where I have gained experience of recruitment into clinical studies, qualitative data collection and analysis.
