About: Kathryn Luanne Sanico, RN, is a telehealth nurse and member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She completed her Diploma in International Health at the University of the Philippines, excelling in Global Diseases Epidemiology and Control and International Health Laws and Regulations, with a major in Health Promotion for Equity and Sustainable Development. With a strong foundation in global epidemiology, she advances culturally competent, evidence-based, and cross-border nursing practice. Kathryn serves as Public Image Chair for Mental Health with Rotary International District 3850, and is a Global Forensic Nurse Member of the International Association of Forensic Nurses, as well as a member of the Transcultural Nursing Society. She is a Challengers’ Committee Member of the Nursing Now Challenge, supporting global initiatives on preparedness, credentialing integrity, and frontline resilience. She began her postgraduate training in Health Action Training, an applied drama approach for person-centered nursing care, and is part of the Sustainable Healthcare Networks Hub. Kathryn also completed the Sustainability Analysis and Quality Improvement in Nursing and Midwifery course under the Center for Sustainable Healthcare (UK).
