About: Stanley holds a BA in Development Studies, an Honours in Industrial Sociology, and a Master’s in Sociology from the University of Johannesburg. He is a researcher at the African Centre for Migration & Society at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Stanley is also an honours student supervisor at the University of Johannesburg as well as a research assistant at tue University of Pretoria. His interests span religion, gender, food safety, worker health and well-being, Migration and broader social dynamics. Stanley values research rooted in real-life experience and is inspired by 80s/90s HIP-HOP for its commentary on identity and resistance. He lives by the words of KRS-ONE: “Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone.”
