About: I am a clinician turned epidemiologist, currently working as a senior scientist at Holdsworth Memorial Hospital in Mysore. I have been involved for over 20 years in epidemiological studies on the developmental origins of health and disease (DOHaD) in Mysore. The main objective of these studies is to understand the influence of maternal and offspring life course factors on development of adult non-communicable disease. I have been mainly involved in following up of two Birth Cohorts in Mysore. I am a recipient of a Wellcome Trust Intermediate fellowship and a senior fellowship of the DBT-Wellcome Trust India Alliance.
