i have worked in a CRO in India and am very well aware of the situation of clinical studies there i.e. the general awareness of the people towards clinical trials is not great despite the will to educate them and are only considered to be a means of earning quick extra money. But i was wondering how common are these conditions in other countries?

I agree with you. I also work on trials in India and think that many participants do not fully understand what they are agreeing too and their motivation is to do with better care and because they can compensated. I think this must be true is all regions? What do others think?
