The long-established South African faculty continues to work had from the base in Cape Town. This years' plans are for a clinical trial methodology research focus for our next skills sharing workshop, which will likely be in October.

We are also planning a research-methods based competition for the wider Global Health Network where the prize will likely be conference attendance - watch this space for more information!

We also have a draft paper in the pipeline between the Nigerian, SA and Kenya groups on our experiences of blended learning - that is, using online TGHN resources combined with on the ground activities. If you want to find out more about how blended learning can be conducted at a site, you can read the Nigerian groups' operating procedures in "Articles" on Global Health Trials.
