During July 11 – 14, 2018, in Santa Rosa de Copan, approximately 320 km Northwest from Tegucigalpa, took place the LXI National Medical Congress, the most important scientific meeting organized annually by the Honduran Medical College (Colegio Medico de Honduras, https://www.colegiomedico.hn/).
The meeting included pre-meeting courses, conferences, symposia, abstracts and a market place. The program and abstract book was published as a supplement of the Revista Médica Hondureña (http://www.bvs.hn/RMH/pdf/2018/html/Vol86-S1-2018.htm). At the market place there was a stand devoted to show The Global Health Network platform by online navigation, provide information including cards, pens, lanyards and instructions for registration. The stand was attended by the Honduran regional faculty with support from the National Continual Medical Education Center (Centro Nacional de Educación Médica Continua) of the Honduras Medical College. Additionally, during the Writing and Publication pre-meeting Course, the platform was also showed and instructions for registration were provided. The meeting had 1500 participants. Also there was a poster about Research Mentorship at the Faculty of Medical Sciences UNAH, where the strategic allies were shown, including The Global Health Network. A total of 194 participants stopped by the stand and signed the visitor paper form; 18 of the registered on site.
