Dear Nazish, the Global Health Network offers a free course in GCP (click 'eLearning' above, then 'short courses') and you'll earn a certificate if you score over 80% in the quiz at the end of the course. We do not offer courses in FDA regulations, though in the next six months we will have one on preparing for audits which may be of use for you. Several courses are available in data management, including on this website for free. I hope this helps.
    Kind regards

Charles - yes, the courses say that you will get a 'Statement of Accomplishment' after finishing the course.

Fosso - yes, anyone can take these courses. They do say at the beginning (on the summarsy of each course) whether prior knowledge is required - e.g. you probably wouldn't want to take an 'advanced data management' course if you knew nothing at all - but there is nothing to stop you having a try at taking the course anyway, if you so wanted!

  • what if you do not have any experience in the proposed courses, is it stii possible to pick the courses?

  • Will courses provide us with certification?

Also, I just wanted to point you towards the John Hopkins School of Public Health Website, which hosts a wealth of information, downloads, courses, etc. http://ocw.jhsph.edu/ - they won't be certified but should help you to build your knowledge.

    Dear Gaizi,

here is the link to our eLearning centre. We don't YET have any public health courses, but we have lots of upcoming courses, so we can definitely create one. If any of our members have material they'd like to share to be made into an eLearning course, do let us know!

Gaizi, which aspect of public health are you interested in learning about?

    Kind regards
    The Editorial Team
