The European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) invites the submission of proposals for the mapping of national research programmes, partnerships, activities and capacities in HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and neglected infectious diseases (NIDs) in EU Member States that acceded after the start of the EDCTP programme in 2003. Proposals should be submitted no later than 1 March 2013.
To support preparations for the next EDCTP programme (EDCTP2), which is expected to start in January 2014, EDCTP wishes to perform a comprehensive mapping of the relevant European and African national research programmes, partnerships, activities and capacities. This mapping project is part of that effort and specifically aims to map research activities in the twelve countries that joined the European Union in 2004 and 2007 and in Croatia. The objective is to facilitate increased collaboration and integration of all EU Member States’ national research programmes under EDCTP2.
The comprehensive mapping analysis is part of the EDCTP-Plus project funded by the Coordination and Support Action (CSA) grant (grant agreement number: 304786) which EDCTP received from the European Commission.
