I am developing a global healthcare hub application. The premise of this application is to mobilize global healthcare while achieving equitable access in exchange for data, which is collected for trials that improve patient care. It's a feedback loop, powered by a data bank rather than a financial system.
The application is designed as an open-source, decentralized cloud alternative to healthcare provision. Each patient is provided with wearable technology to monitor their condition, complete triage, and assess need for follow-up visits.
The patient portal provides access to participate voluntarily in healthcare surveys and submit requests for care. Each visit mandates the completion of 3~10 survey questions that link directly to ongoing studies. Data credits are tokenized then used to satisfy post-visit requirements to supplement "free" healthcare.
Providers use the app to access transport to/from patients onsite. Patients that are fit to travel (low risk) can access the transport through their portal as well when transporting to clinics. High risk patients acccess ambulatory services through the same dispatch portal, but have requests skip the line, flagged urgent.
An insurance system for providers is built into the app. Patients may waive the right to make a claim to participate in various care events and trials. Most claims are solved with an alternative care solution. Where there are physical damages, the offending provider is responsible to arrange an alternative care solution within the means of insurance provisions.
I would love feedback to help develop/disseminate the application for public use in the global sphere. If you are looking for a project to work on, let me know!
