IDDO is seeking a research assistant to contribute to an examination of data which have the potential to reduce the spread of infectious disease outbreaks and accelerate treatment. The study will examine systems to make data available for public health emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.

This full-time, short-term position with salary support is available immediately and will continue until 30JUN17. We are seeking a Research Associate to support this work by contributing to a review of available literature and data hosting systems; conducting a survey of relevant stakeholders; collecting and analyzing data; and report/manuscript writing as per the detailed outline attached.

The position will be based in the Infectious Diseases Data Observatory at Oxford’s Old Road campus, but can be flexible with working location. Candidates who already have access to Oxford University systems are especially welcome.
