King's College London is currently inviting applications for the post of Research Associate located at the Department of Global Health & Social Medicine (formerly known as the Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine), a unique interdisciplinary department at King’s founded in 2012. GHSM is already ranked within the top 10 of sociology departments in the UK.
The overall purpose of the job is to produce the deliverables of the work package on “Ethical, societal and regulatory dimensions mapping” of the Horizon2020-funded project Visible Attributes through Genomics: Broadened Forensic Use of DNA for Constructing Composite Sketches from Traces (VISAGE).
You will have completed, or be close to obtaining a PhD in legal studies or a relevant social science subject. You must have experience with designing, carrying out, and analysing qualitative interviews, and a good understanding of EU institutions and the relationship between EU and national law and regulation.
The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.
Interviews are scheduled to be held in the last week of April 2017.
